Joyeux Anniversaire 21

An awesome Birthday dinner, awesome group of friends, an awesome you, and an awesome 21st. I fell sick one day before my birthday and I was pretty worried that I will be down with a fever on the actual day. My aunt surprised me as she popped by my house and handed me a red packet. We chit chatted for a while before I started to prepare myself to head out to the salon. To my surprise, the stylist took only 30 mins to settle me hair and I was glad that everything went according to my plan and timing. However, it was really weird to take the train with that hair of mine and carrying a bouquet of flowers as everyone was giving me weird looks. The next task on my list was to collect my balloons and it was great that the rain stopped in time for us to carry the balloons over to Chijmes. If not, I wonder how we will transport the balloons over under the heavy rain.

When I reached Hog's Breath, I was pretty pleased with the ambience and set up of the place and took only about 15 mins to put up the stuff. Thanks Silly, for handling everything. I totally love the cozy, laid back and comfortable ambience of the room and I do hope that my guests found it cozy and nice to chill out too. Although I couldn't spend alot of time catching up with everyone, I was glad that I still managed to find out how each and everyone who was there was doing recently. I was especially happy with how the cake turned out and I felt that all my effort in sourcing for a cake shop to provide me with such a design did not go to waste. Special thanks to all who stayed till everything ended (especially May May, Sheryl and Jade who came early and were the last to leave). Special thanks to Bryan too, for the excellent service and helping with the dirty job of cutting the cake. LOL. Sis, Silly and me hung around for another round of drinks before leaving at 10 plus.

Looking back at the entire event, there's a sense of achievement that I felt. The entire process of sourcing for a nice venue, cake, door gifts, dress, hairdo, balloons, and other nitty gritty details. I do agree with what Tan Chun said; when you handle everything yourself and the event turns out to be successful, it becomes more memorable ain't it? More importantly, I know exactly what I want and how I want it to be. Special thanks to Silly who was there to help me with everything possible and those that offered to help out too!:) Cihui had a memorable and unforgettable 21st and it would not have been possible without every single one of you.
