Do not do unto others what you do not want them to do to you.

This hit me really hard during work in the past week. Thursday saw me rushing out stuff for some of the audit peeps and I have got to say that some interns from a particular school are really rude and unappreciative. Initially, I thought that was me being oversensitive. However, it turns out that most of the tax staff who worked with them did not have a pleasant working time either. That made me felt how important mutual respect at work will really help to make your life easier. This topic has been brought up several times during GRA class but I didn't seem to register it as much as last week when the issue is being brought up right in front of us. Guess that was a test of my patience and tolerance level in dealing with mean people. In conclusion, respect others.

Expectations and entitlements.

This was the topic that Silly and me were discussing yesterday night. In a relationship, should we expect anything from each other? For me, I used to think it is human nature for us to expect something from each other be it tangible stuff or not. But Silly begs to differ. If one party wants to do something for the other, he or she will just do it without expecting something in return. But how many relationships today are like that? As mentioned by Karen, the younger generation re brought up with the thinking that you shouldn't lose out. Each and everyone does something for another with an expectation to get something back in mind. How many of us truly offers to help or love without expecting anything in return? Hm... That keeps me thinking about myself too.

All right, enough of the heavy stuff. Time for some entertainment. We went to catch Sorcerer's Apprentice on one of the Fridays and I got to say the style is pretty much like Percy Jackson. It is quite funny and interesting but it is really amusing to see people conducting spells and everything in the middle of nowhere in New York City and claiming it to be the gate of what or entrance of what. It was quite hilarious when they used the satellite thingy to channel energy to raise the dead. It is cool but somewhat amusing too.

Next Friday saw me at Manhattan for dinner and I must say the platter is great:) Love the garlic rice and butter prawns. Totally awesome. Saturday saw me at TM's Pizza Hut before heading to G2000 for some shopping. I saw the blouse that I want and I am so going to get it. All right, off for more wow and probable shopping later.
