Work is tiring as usual but fun:)
This time round, Cihui became a flyer distributor for SingTel. I think I repeated the phrase "Hello! SingTel Promotion Special. Last day today" for about a million times yesterday. Standing under the hot sun distributing flyers is no joke man. Kudos to Ken Ken who managed to tahan for two full days. Met Ken Ken and her bf at Toa Payoh hub at about 11 plus before changing to the typical BRIGHT red SingTel Mio shirt. Within the eight hours of work, I have seen all sorts of weird people. Some people are really dao when you hand out flyers to them and I think it is karma because I usually smile at these flyer distributors but don't take these flyers from them.
After about two hours, Ken and me went for a break at KFC. Almost fell asleep under the nice air con before going for the second round of distribution. There was this weird don't know uncle or auntie (can't tell the gender) who suddenly approached me and asked if I was interested in distributing newspaper at Bishan area early in the morning. I was like !!!!!!!!!! Isn't that a guys job and plus I can't really wake up that early these days. So weird. Then came this pair of street survey peeps. Since they helped to take my brochure, I had to help them do a short survey. -.- Ended up talking cock with them and making friends with the "I am from Prudential" person.
Took another short break after that and went to buy nice "on the scooter ice cream" with Ken. Haha, what a slack job man. Apart from the fact that we have to stand for some many hours and face weird people, this is quite a fun job. Headed hom after which and watched part 2 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. HAHA. Wanted to sleep early but ended up chatting with Alfred till 3 am. Shag sia. Shall try to sleep early tonight.
