Busy and tiring but FULFILLING WEEK.

The past week was a busy but fulfilling week. On thursday, I headed down to the zoo with my BGS project group mates. I haven't been there for years, since primary school I think. Calvin, Galdys and myself took a bus down to the zoo from CCK Mrt Station and met Junkit at the zoo entrance. We took a map and went around exploring the zoo, camwhoring every now and then. We managed to catch the splash show and that sea lion or seal was freaking smart! I was totally amazed by all the stunts and response that the creature made. It then poured and e had lunch at "Ah Meng's Restuarant" and luckily, they didn't serve us orang utan food. We had Ben and Jerry's ice cream while waiting for the rain to stop and the way th other three ate the ice cream made the entire bowl of ice cream look like dog food.-.-
After dessert, we continued to explore the zoo till it was time to go home. Junkit was really nice to send me home in his car. At least, I didn't have to squeeze with the crowd on the long MRT journey home.

On Friday, I met up with Sheri, Sheryl and Kendrick for lunch at Crystal Jade. The food there was AWESOME. So was the price. However, it was definitely worth the money and time to eat there with a great company.

Saturday was the day to get rid of all the fats that I had stuffed into my mouth for the past few weeks. I headed down to East Coast Park in the morning with Sheri for the Desaru Pre-Ride session. I has been a long time since I last took the 55 bus. Taking the 55 bus again brought back many fond memories. The familiar route to VJ, the familiar stops, familiar landmarks and familiar feeling of going back to school. We then kicked off from East coast and cycled all the way to Changi Village for lunch. I was shagged by the time I was half way along the route next to the airport runway. It was as if the road head was endless and I wanted to just stop. I was whining non stop like a kid and I finally reached Changi village. We were suppose to have lunch there but I was so thirsty and tired that I just gulped down two ups of sugar cane juice. We then returned back to East coast. To my surprise, the return journey seemed much shorter than the going journey and we managed to reach East Coast Park again within a shorter time period. Even though it was really tiring, I was so proud of myself being able to cimplete the entire journey. I wonder how much fats I was able to shake off. Now I am back at home typing this with an aching body and injured leg. I hope I would be able to recover by the next ride. I seriously doubt whether I can survive the Desaru Ride. Meanwhile, may God bless me.
