Food Post=)
[BOWLS OF LA MIAN & XIAO LONG BAO]I went for the last pool class on Friday with Yu Ting. Even though it was ht elast pool class, my skills did not improve and the as usual, the ball decides whether it wants to go into the pockets according to its mood. I was supposed to have BGS project meeting after that in school but it was cancelled last minute so Yu Ting and I went to this HK cafe style eatery in the vicinity for dinner. The La Mian was really good but the waiters and waitresses are a bit weird. The only problem with the noodle was that it was really long which makes eating abit difficult. But then again, for the sake of good food, I guess the effort was worth it.
[BLACK PEPPER CHICKEN RICE WITH HK CAFE MILK TEA]We wne to HK cafe for lunch before one of the BGS meeting and it was Calvin's birthday on that day. We celebrated his birthday with white tea light candles and B & J's ice cream. Eh, it was kind of a unique way to celebrate I guess. Haha
[CAKE WITH MANGO SMOOTHIE AT 1 AM]This was a sinful supper meal I had with my Karin, Chris, Vincent, Jodie, Derrence, Grace and Jen. We headed down to the nearest 24 hours Macs for supper at about 1 am after my grandma's funeral ritual. Jen suggested such a supper gathering for the cousins to chit chat since we were all staying overnight at the place. Other than the cake and smoothie, I was chucking fries into my mouth every now and then. It was a great chit chat session bitching about people and laughing at silly comments and jokes that these grown ups made.
[ICE MOCHAS]Ice mochas are one of the best drinks you can have after shopping with girlfriend.:)It is refreshing and you will feel recharge to go on another shopping battle after drinking it.
[CHEESE FRIES AND CALAMARI]Fran and I decided to have oily food when we met up to design baby Clar's gift. The calamari rings from New York New York does not taste very nice after having two of them.
I had AS Mid Term Examination today. YES, an examination on a Sunday. Again, I screw it up big time because I just cannot reason and argue for nuts. Shoots. That aside, I went for lunch with AS peeps at SMU-ians favourite hangout, Kopitiam. I had the Ba Chor Mee there for the first time and it was quite good. I headed down to PS after to watch Eagle Eye at GV. However, due to the consistent bad luck that Cihui has, there was a technical problem during the screening and we had a refund for the show. At first, I thought there was only a refund but we even got complimentary tickets. So we headed down to J8 to catch The Coffin. The show was quite freaky with living people lying in coffins. The sound and visual effects shocked me several times too. However, there was a plot behind the entire scary thing so you wouldn't find it as scary as before. Headed home after that and here I am in front of the computer, slacking and researching for accomodation for the Desaru trip. I have tonnes of school work to complete and I think i should clear one part of the mountain at one time. All right, having said that, Cihui shall be off to clear her mountain.
