Goodbye.

Five and a half months of punching card in and out five days a week. Five and a half months of lunching out at the warm food paradise opposite the office five days a week. Five and a half months of waking up at 7am and catching the 745 am bus five days a week. Five and a half months of filing and keying POs five days a week. Five and a half months of insights gained and memories created. It is now time to say goodbye.

Eileen brought Grace and me to MOS last Friday and it was an eye opener. Walking through the different rooms of different genre's, hte only thought that came to my mind was "Ah, this is how MOS looks like." It was a great chill out session on a Friday night. However, I guess I am not used to certain mixtures of drink as one of them tasted like antibiotics. I met Xianling's friend there at the VIP room and I found it quite a cool thing that her mum allows her to work there. We stayed at the R&B room and there were three girls that danced really well. I left early with a super red face and I still managed to train home safely. Yesterday was my last day at work and it was a great day. Some of my colleagues treated me to Pizza Hut's Pizza and the food was great. We ate at the pantry and it was enjoyable to listen to their conversation during lunch. They got me a Puma jacket and a card and I was really touched. Thanks alot for the wonderful gift!

Farewell gift

I bought a few of them customized rulers and mini cakes from Emicakes. Hope that they had enjoyed the little cake. I chit chatted with different people in the afternoon while moving around to tie up the loose ends of whatever I had to finish and it ended my last day at work on a high note.

Special thanks to:

Eileen & Grace for all your care, help, love and concern all these while. I really felt like a younger sister being taken care by the both of you.

Pik Seah, Wai wai & Helen for all your patience and guidance by showing me the ropes for the job and offering me snacks.

Susan for offering me snacks.

Alan for offering me free taxi rides home.

Thank you guys very much for your care upon "xiao mei".

I went down for medical check up at Ang Mo Kio with Xianling and we waited quite some time to conduct our X-rays. We were like two hungry people waiting for our x-rays to be done and thinking about what to eat after the check up. After being certified medically fit for enrolment, we went to have MOS burger immediately. I don't know whether it was tea break or early dinner but one thing for sure is that it feels great to be siting outside at 4 pm eating something nice but unhealthy and shaking your leg when the rest of the world are busy. This makes me aspire to be a rich tai tai even more. Hopefully ten years down the road, I will be able to shake my leg at some high class place while have high tea. Ahaha, life would be great then.
