Dreams and Goals.

What happens in Vegas. A nice movie. I went to catch it with Fran, clar and mich. The show was quite funny and I am totally in loev with the female lead. She is so charismatic especially when she smiles. i like the storyline and I was quite happy with the ending. Hehe. Vegas, I shall visit there someday in future. We went to have dessert at Cafe cartel after the show and I got myself the Mango mousse. If you have a sweet tooth, that will be the cake for you.

The workload for the past week was still manageable and I managed to shred about 9 files of documents to prevent the files from stacking up till they lift the table up. I was glad that I did not have to key a single PO on friday but there was quite a bit of filing to do. I cut my middle finger again and I wonder if the papers at JST have something against my middle finger. The feeding routine still continues in the office. I was being fed with quite a bit of chocolate on friday and like what susan and helen said, it is hard and I personally think that it is impossible to control your diet when you work in JST.

Ever since I started working, I have begin to look at things from a different perspective. I would say that it is from a more practical perspective. Qualifications are indeed really important for one to land in a cushy job. It has been really irritating to know that your future is dependent on a cert which you took many many years to study for and the results are just based on that one to two hours of examination. Two years of hardwork and you are being assessed of your ability in just that couple of hours. Language, communcation skills and being able to think on your feet is definitely essential. Yet, the most important thing is to think before you speak. The words and tone you used are definitely going to affect how the others look at you and assess you. Never speak before you think.

I went for NTU and SMU's accountancy talks for the past two weeks and it was really informative. Accountancy, the subject that you would either come to love or end up swearing at the textbooks for the next four years. Yet, nothing is easy in uni education. As 2nd June comes nearer, I would have to come to a decision soon. Yeah, soon. It is a happy day today because for once I wouldnt have to spend my monday stuck in the office suffering from severe Monday blues breathing unventilated air. However, there is one important theory to keep in mind. No Work= No Money. I guess a break from work is important too. I shall enjoy my monday holiday well. =)
