Waraku de Pasta.
It was a great Friday night last week. I guess we all enjoyed ourselves even though we were very tired. The entire week just zoomed past like that with me keying POs after POs. It was Irene's last day at work last friday and eileen, Irene and me went on a dinner date after work. We headed down to Raffles Place MRT station and walked to Clarke Quay from there. Walking through the restuarants and pubs on a friday evening really makes me understand what it really means to let your hair down. We made our way through the drinking crowd and reached Waraku de Pasta at about 7 plus. We waited for quite some time to get our table but I guess when we finally sent the food into our mouths, we all knew that it was worth the wait. The serving was just right and it tasted really good. Eating together with someone means sharing your souls with each other. I am glad that I was able to share my soul with my friends=) It was the funniest meal I ever had as half the time we were busy laughing. eileen was the ultimate joker of the night as she kept drinking water non stop through the night for one particular reason that we all know. However, it was quite tiring for our eyes as it has to keep darting to one side to be able to admire something artistic.
We went for a walk down the river and cam whored with the beautiful scenery there. Being able to feel the night breeze on the bridge was something wonderful and for a moment it made me feel as if I was away from the hectic world, the world of anxiety and the world of POs. For a moment, I felt that I was alive. There was some nght kite flying activity with electronic kites going on at the grass patch area and it was such an awesome scene. The kites looked so puny up there in the air just like a firefly. Small and tiny yet bright, warm and beautiful. All right man, I am so going to learn how to operate that, get myself an electronic kite once I am rich enough to do so and play with it at the grass patch downstairs. But I guess the residents here should get insurance for their windows in case they find their house without windows after my kite flying activity. I guess beautiful nights are always short lived. Yet, no matter how short lived it was, it definitely brought me much joy. Thanks alot dearies for the wonderful night!

Dont they look delicious? Mind you, they are fake.I went to watch 'Definitely, Maybe" yesterday at Vivocity and I almost fell asleep in the cinema. The show was quite all right, just like a typical romance show that reflects more about what happens in reality rather than the lovey dovey kind that touches you to the max such that your tears keep rolling down to the max too. It is a more practical kind of romance that happens today. Maybe happy endings are abit cliche but I guess happy endings are always much better than the other kinds of endings. Work today wasn't as bad as expected as I managed to clear an inch of the mountain load and there is a new receptionist today. I can't wait for gelare date tomorrow. Ice cream makes me happy and yes, fat too. But i guess the happy part outweighs the fat part for a moment and I shall be happy for a moment. Have an awesome night everyone:)
Everyone walks at different speeds, each at their own pace. If two decide that they want to walk together for the rest of their lives, they just have to learn to sychronize their steps.Labels: Onwards and Upwards
