CHINESE NEW YEAR!The new year has finally arrived. A new year, new beginning and many new things for me to learn. Mum prepared steamboat for reunion dinner and all of us were crowding around the piping hot steamboat the entire night. We always take our own sweet time to eat on Chinese New Year eve. After dinner, my sis and I helped out in washing dishes, vacuuming and mopping the floor. I stayed up till 3.30 am to watch my romantic princess dvd. I got a bit sian of it because I don't really feel the chemistry between the two main leads and I managed to watch on just because of Wu Zun's face. lol.
On the first day of new year, I woke up at 11 plus and went to my aunt's house after brunch. Managed to catch up with some of my cousins there and we just sat there and watch tv. i kept yawning non top due to serious lack of sleep the night before. we went over to my grandma's house at about 4 plus and almost all who were suppose to be there were there. That's kind of good in a way because we don't have to go around visiting. My cousins are getting more and more handsome each year man. When I stepped into the house, I was thinking to myself, "Who is that hunk siting there?!" When he turned around, he was actually my cousin -.-. Haha. No wonder I didn't see him at Bugis that time when he said he saw me. LOL. Too handsome to be recognised. I gambled quite a bit because there was nothing else to do. Won about 37 bucks and it was great because it kind of covered for my movie expenses for the next two days. That was how I spent my first day. BORING.
Then came the second day. I was supposed to go to my the aunt's house but I went out to watch movie because everyone would justbe at my aunt's house to gamble. I went to watch Kungfu Dunk at Plaza Sing and we were kind of lucky. We were there at 3 to queue for the 4.05 show tickets and this person came over and sold us the 3.15 show tickets because their friend couldn't make it in time for the show. So we just went straight into the threatres to watch without having to queue much. The show was quite funny and Jay looks totally innocent and retarded with those small eyes of his. I thought the theme song suck when I first heard it on the cd. However, when they played the song with the basketball match going on, it was kind of cool. We went to vivo to have dinner at some Jap charcoal grill restuarant. We should have just catch the movie at vivo. How smart we were to travel all arounf when they have everything at vivo. Thankfully Jocelyn brought us to her workplace before and I kind of had an idea of how and what to order. Haha. The food was not bad and I think I want to try the sesame ice cream there next time. Their cheesecake looked abit funny though. it looks like soap man. We walked around and chit chat abit before going home.
Today. i was supposed to meet Fran for movie but she couldn't make it last minute. I guess I will just stay at my cousin's house till I get really bored and see who I can jio out. Have fun peeps:)
