First.
The first post in this year. Work for the past week was really tired. Standing there serving customers is really not easy. There are really many weird people out there. However, no matter what, we have to learn to greet everyone with a smile no matter what happens. One thing I cannot stand would be the BHG plastic bag. I think it really looks weird. It is obviously the Seiyu plastic bag but they just changed the printing on it to BHG. The cashier's uniform looks bad too. Grey vest with orange shirt. What a weird combination. Even though it was tiring, it was a great experience learning how to serve customers, mingle with them and also learn to be more independent in the working world. Of course, there were some customers that really make your day. They will really treat you as their friend and talk non stop. Haha. Whenever the last hour of the day comes, all the promoters will be very quiet since we are too tired to talk.
Yesterday was the last day and it was simply great. A new promoter came and she was really nice and friendly. The sales on the first day was the worst. It was the first day of school and not much people would come out to shop for stuff. Even though there were many students, most of them would just go up to the cinema to watch movie. After work, the soles of my shoes would be filled with popcorn. This is all thanks to the "Kool Look" people who were giving out free popcorn to kids as part of their advert for promotion and those kids would walk over to the fair and drop the popcorn all over. I pity those cleaners that have to clean up the mall every night. Standing for five days is really a torture for my legs. My soles feel so numb and getting home to sleep was really the best thing in life that I could ever get during these five days.Lol. I think I will try to get an admin job next. Hm, but the admin job that another company offers is all the way at Keppel District. I don't even know where it is. Shall think about it.
CNY is coming and I am kind of excited. Many new things that I want to get. Many of the peeps are enlisting soon. I wonder how they will look without hair on top.
