Friday. Thanksgiving cum graduation service.

It was PL's 90th anniversary. I went back as a 2005 graduand and attended the service at PLMC. One year ago i was at the same place. after a year, i am back to the same place. The feeling was really good. It feels like you are being back home. Looking at familiar faces created a strong feeling in me. i miss the people. When i stepped into the church, michelle waved at me. Goodness, I havent met them for quite some time. I went up to the "Cry Room" and we had to put on that graduation gown. Goodness, i look like a noob. I saw so many of my friends. ying le, janice, xianling, nellyn, adeline, rachel, supranee, pearly, yujun and many others. Time passed really fast and it was time for us to enter the chapel hall. everything looked quite grand. the handbells played as we stepped in. They sounded really good. Then it was the service. haha. It was usual long speeches and addresses. however, it was unusually long this year. Then nellyn and the rest were like murmuring here and there.

then supranee went up to give her speech. lol. she is so funny. my legs almost broke after the whole service. Oh, we sang the sch song too. gosh, it has been so long since we sang it. I think all the graduands sang the school song so proudly for the first time.As usual, there was a time of worship and praise. singing songs and reflecting back at times you have spent in PL almost made me cry. After the whole service we went around taking pictures. haha, smile here and there. I went home after that and watch vcds. Then i came out for dinner with les partner at toa payoh. I was looking around at the cd shop and to my surprise, KJH is a singer! Oh my gosh! so cool. anyway, he has got a nice voice.:) Then i reached home at about 9 plus. I watch vcds till about 2 plus then went to bed. I had to wake up at about 8 plus this morning and go for open house. pirates! haha. I saw eugene in that costume while walking arond. haha. Look like captain jack sparrow's imitation version. Joel looks quite normal. he was on blades and rested his hand on top of my head to show that he is so tall and i am short that he could do that comfortably-.-. Then tan chun and i was outside at the school gate and walking on the grass patch to avoid the "welcome to vj party". lol. then eugene shouted so loudly, " xiao xiao, pls walk on the pavement!" haha. then everyone laughed. lol. then teresa and her friends came. we went around, chatted and took funny pictures. haha. thank you teresa! Oh oh, xian ling went out and bought me a mickey mouse key chain thing and gave it to me as a gift. Thank you les partner!! i like it very much!:)

Today was kind of tiring. Maybe not enough sleep. Maybe i thought too much. Maybe i just would have to learn to be happier. I hope that i would not feel as if i am in a cage. whatever it is, perhaps i am just tired.

Oh oh, i was watching Princess Hours and the girl was thinking how her life has changed. She feels that she does not have freedom and was tired of observing rules and all. She felt that she cant breathe. i was just wondering, even if we have freedom, not having to stay in a palace observing inflexible rules, there are still times that we feel as if we cant breathe. However, whatever it is, i guess we just have to be ourselves and not let circumstances change us into a totally different person. That feels weird. Anyway, I shall go catch my sleep and tomorrow will be a better day. Smile:)
